Model R4300P (Ion), the new portal reader of the easy2read© Family, is optimized for full portal installation featuring full power to up to 4 antennas, full network interfaces, GEN2 DRM management and high speed Gen2 read rates. In addition to all these features, the R4300P allows data transfer via an integrated GPRS modem (optional). The R4300P uses an INTEL® ATOM™ processor and combines the processing power of INTEL X86 architecture with the most advanced RFID performances. Overview

The CAEN A939 Vehicle Mount RFID Interface is a device that allows to identify and monitor the presence of a trailer via UHF RFID. It is a box that requires a 9-36VDC input and allows Bluetooth® class 2 / RS232 communications.

The A939 has an internal antenna that can be used for on-board badge identification of the driver and a connector for an external antenna. The external antenna can be mounted on the rear of the cab, thus allowing to read UHF tags located on the trailer surface up to 2m distance.

The A939 Vehicle Mount RFID Interface can be coupled with Bluetooth® enabled mobile devices, thus providing transfer of UHF RFID reading of tags via remote GPRS to a central server. If the coupled mobile device has a GPS on board, the complete system enables also geolocation and driver identification throughout the complete trip.

Overview

The CAEN A828BT is a UHF portable reader compliant with ISO 18000-6B and ISO 18000-6C/EPC C1G2 standards. Thanks to Bluetooth communication the A828BT can be a perfect add-on to any bluetooth device such as PC, Smart Phone, PDA, Blackberry for proximity UHF readings.
The A828BT can operate either in wired mode, using the USB connection, or in wireless mode through the Bluetooth.

This new CAEN RFID reader is a cost effective solution which merges two wireless technologies aimed to support fi eld sales force.

The A828BT comes with a two slots battery charger that allows you to house the reader together with an additional battery.

The A828BT features a clip-on pistol grip handle. The handle is lightweight and simple to attach. It is durable, performing extremely well in multiple drop tests.

Overview

The A941 is a multi protocol long range reader module developed for OEM applications and designed to be integrated into a user’s infrastructure/ devices requiring UHF tag programming and reading. The A941 is available either in ETSI or FCC version. The ETSI version is fully compliant to the European regulations ETSI EN 302 208 and ETSI EN 300 220, the FCC version to the US telecommunication regulation FCC part 15 . The A941 suppor ts Philips UCODE EPC 1.19, ISO 18000-6B, and EPC Class1 Gen2. Other UHF protocols may be available by firmware upgrade. The A941 is available either as an OEM module, for customers who want to design their own RFID solution and require a long range RFID readerengine, or in IP65 enclosure to meet the demands of rough industrial environment, including warehouse and vehicle mount applications.

Model A948 is the evolution of CAEN long range UHF reader A928. It maintains the A928 multi-protocol technology and firmware / protocol upgradeability. The A948 is available either in ETSI or FCC version. The ETSI version is fully compliant to the European regulations ETSI EN 302 208 and ETSI EN 300 220, the FCC version to the US telecommunication regulation FCC part 15. The A948 is a multi-protocol module, it supports Philips UCODE EPC 1.19, ISO 18000-6B and EPC Class1 Gen2. Other UHF protocols may be available by firmware upgrade. Overview

The A829 is a multiprotocol fully integrated UHF low power short range reader designed specifically to be used in desktop, point of sale or access control applications. The A829 is available either in ETSI or FCC version. The ETSI version is fully compliant to the European Regulation ETSI EN 300 220 (869.525 MHz), while the FCC to the US telecommunication regulation FCC part 15 (902-928 MHz). It is the reader solution to solve the problem of proximity reading/writing of tags and labels, where transponders are up to 1 metre distance from the reader. The A829 supports ISO 18000-6B, Philips UCODE EPC 1.19 and EPC Class1 Gen2. Other UHF protocols may be available by firmware upgrade. The A829 houses an integrated antenna and an USB interface for PC connection. It is a bus powered USB device designed to operate as a stand alone PC peripheral communicating via an USB serial port.
